Dental Implant Abutment
Abutments connect the final prosthesis to the implant. Types of abutment are:
1. Preformed abuments
2. Custom-made abutments
Dental Implant Abutment is the transmucosal component which is connected using an abutment screw into the implant fixture. The abutment screw inserts through the abutment and threads into the fixture to connect the two components (dental implant fixture and abutment)
